Gold Fork Hot Springs
A privately run soaking site on Gold Fork Road east of Donnelly, with six rock-formed, flow-through pools and a sandy children's pool. Admission is cash only, there is a two-hour soak limit, and no reservations are taken. Winter hours run Wednesday to Monday, with Thursdays set aside for guests 18 and over.
Trail Creek Hot Springs
Creekside pools about 19 miles from Cascade on the Warm Lake road, reached by a short, steep descent from a roadside pullout. Some pools are reinforced with concrete, and pipes let cold creek water in to adjust the temperature. Visit Idaho features it as a winter soak, when the path down is snow-covered.
Vulcan Hot Springs
A geothermal area on Vulcan Creek in the Boise National Forest, reached on Vulcan Hot Springs Trail #072 from the Tyndall / Vulcan Trailhead. The trailhead has a vault toilet and five dispersed campsites but no drinking water. The source springs are near boiling, so soaking is only possible where creek water has cooled them.
Boiling Springs
A geothermal area on the Middle Fork Payette River about 24 miles north of Crouch on Forest Road 698, next to a Forest Service campground and the rentable Boiling Springs Cabin. Recreation.gov describes soaking in the hot springs beside the cabin, and the USFS says the springs are a short walk from the trailhead parking. The main spring is near boiling, so test the water before getting in.

Silver Creek Plunge
A family campground in the Boise National Forest about 25 miles north of Crouch, built around a 186,000-gallon geothermal pool that has operated since 1957. Water enters at 100-104F and the full volume turns over about every six hours. Lodging is rustic A-frames and cabins with no linens or showers, plus first-come tent and RV sites.
Rocky Canyon Hot Springs
A three-tiered hot spring above the Middle Fork of the Payette River, about 12 miles up South Middle Fork Road from Crouch. Reaching it means wading the river, which Visit Idaho says is only safe in summer at low water. Parking is a small pull-off on the left of the road.

Zims Hot Springs
Two outdoor pools a few miles from New Meadows in the Meadows Valley, filled with mineral water from an artesian well and operated by the Nez Perce Tribe. The smaller soaking pool runs about 100-105F and the larger swimming pool about 90-100F. The site also has RV parking, a campground, a light snack bar and arcade games.

Terrace Lakes Resort
A golf resort in Garden Valley with an outdoor geothermal pool open year-round to day visitors without reservations. The resort also has a restaurant and lounge, motel rooms, cabins, condos and RV spots. Drinks bought on site can be taken to the pool area with a wristband.
Sheepeater Hot Springs
A riverside hot spring at Sheepeater camp, river mile 13.0 on the Middle Fork of the Salmon in the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness. The Forest Service lists it as one of six hot springs camps on the float; each permitted group may be assigned only one, and it is not guaranteed. The agency warns that some Middle Fork springs are hot enough to burn and bans soap in hot springs.
