Medbery Spa & Wellness
A day spa on Front Street in Ballston Spa that draws naturally carbonated mineral water from the Sans Souci spring, whose 690-foot well dates to 1870. Soaks are private and 30 minutes as standard, with a jacuzzi tub for couples. The spa says the spring runs about 50°F, so hot tap water is added to the bath.
Roosevelt Baths & Spa
A 1935 bathhouse in Saratoga Spa State Park, run with The Gideon Putnam hotel, where guests soak in private tubs of naturally carbonated mineral water. The spa says the water is drawn cold from underground springs and mixed with warm fresh water to a neutral temperature. Baths last 40 minutes alone or 20 minutes before another treatment, by advance reservation, for guests 18 and over.
