A single 40-by-40-foot pool built of locally milled fir planks laid over artesian springs, about 35 miles west of Bozeman. The pool is drained every night and refills with fresh water; no chemicals are used, and temperatures run below 100F in summer and up to 106F in winter. A cafe, saloon and frequent live music share the site, with a summer campground next door.
